Steve Cole is an award-winning and bestselling British children's author who has written more than 200 books for young readers. Best known for the hugely popular Astrosaurs series and the action-packed Young Bond adventures, his books combine humour, excitement and imagination to inspire children of all ages to discover the joy of reading.
Before becoming a full-time author, Steve worked as an editor for the BBC, where he was involved with Doctor Who publishing, and later held editorial roles at leading children's publishers. Today, he continues to write across a wide range of genres, specialising in middle-grade adventures and young adult fiction.
Renowned for his energetic and entertaining school visits, Steve has inspired thousands of children through interactive storytelling, creative writing workshops and author events both in the UK and around the world.
